William’s Obituary William H. Glasser, 90, of Latrobe, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Loyalhanna Senior Suites. Born June 8, 1928 in Derry, he was a son of the late Roy B. Glasser and Minerva (Coughenour) Glasser. William was a member of Hope Evangelical Methodist Church, Youngstown.

Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by Latrobe Steel Co. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served his country during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was skilled in carving, having won many worldwide carving competitions. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Eugene Glasser.

William is survived by his wife, Jo Ann (Murray) Glasser; one son, W. Dean Glasser, and his wife Agatha; two daughters, Barbara Jo Glasser and Mary Jane Kovac, and her husband Michael; and one granddaughter, Sarah Kovac. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Loyalhanna Senior Suites and Heartland Hospice for the compassionate care they provided. There will be no public visitations.

Services and interment at Unity Cemetery will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Action for Animals, P.O. Box 814, Latrobe, PA 15650 or Heartland Hospice, 3520 Route 130, Irwin, PA 15642. Arrangements are being handled by the John J. Lopatich Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe.
