Obituary for Hilma Geraldine Orr Hilma Geraldine Orr age 94 of Thomaston, AL died January 17, 2019 at Marengo Nursing Home. She was born April 29, 1924 in Palmyra, IL to Thomas Jefferson and Amy Josephine Quarton. He was a former seamstress with Vanity Fair and a homemaker.
She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Howard Lee Ott of Thomasville, AL; four daughters, Lorena Sheffield of Thomaston, AL; Loretta Glass of Thomaston, AL; Geraldine Coble of Louisville, IL; and Patricia Murphy of Nobles, IL; 17 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren, and 39 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Sardis Baptist Church on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service time with Rev.
Mike Snow and Rev. Mike Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Thomaston Cemetery.
