TENCHER, Hope J., (Bessette), 61, of Ellijay, Georgia, formerly of West Greenwich, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. She was the wife of Brian P. Tencher. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Norman Bessette, Sr. and Arlene M. (Ohlson) Bessette.

She resided in West Greenwich before moving to Ellijay five years ago. Hope worked for Gloria Duchin, Inc. in Pawtucket, RI for many years. Hope had a love for animals daily enjoying her goats, donkeys and dog.

Besides her husband she leaves her children, Rachel Hoegen of Pawtucket, RI, DeAnna Heaney of Boston, MA, Krissy (Heaney) Hansard of Ellijay, GA, Brittany (Tencher) Struble of Lynchburg, VA and Brian Tencher, Jr. of Lynchburg ,VA; her siblings, Norman Bessette Sr., Arlene Laprade, Bonnie Allen, Eric Wagner Sr. and Vicki Neyland and six grandchildren. She was the sister of late Robin Camire. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a funeral home service at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
