Obituary of Howard Timblin Howard F. Timblin, Jr, 80, of 9 Crane Street, died Thursday July 5, 2018, in UMPC Chautauqua WCA. A native of Kane, PA, he was born March 15, 1938, one of ten children and the only son of Howard and Freda Saline Timblin, Sr. A veteran of the US Navy he served from 1955-59 and then in the Naval Reserves until being discharged in 1963. He and his late wife were owners of Rachel’s Cleaning Service for 25 years.

He earlier had worked for American Manufacturing, Ethan Allen and Lutheran Social Services. He was a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars. Surviving are two daughters Sherry (Rick) Spinney of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and Laraine (Jimmy) Mills of Newport News, VA; four grandchildren; a great grandchild and several sisters including Alice (Tom) Apthorpe of Falconer.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Rachel Hall Timblin, who died August 30, 2015. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
