Ida “Marie” Musser, 94, of Townsend, Delaware and formerly of Harrisburg passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018. Born November 11, 1923 in Mexico, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Lurena (Fleisher) Clemens. She was the widow of Chester Leroy Musser since February 19, 1987 and was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Musser was a 1943 graduate of Juniata Joint High School of Mifflintown and retired from State Automobile Insurance Association of Harrisburg. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Linglestown and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Surviving are her sister Betty J. Allen of Townsend, Delaware, with whom she lived, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 19, 2018 at Buse Funeral Home, 2 East Main Street, Hummelstown preceded by a viewing beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Hummelstown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to her church, 1214 Crosby Street, Harrisburg, PA 17112 or Harrisburg Humane Society, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
