Obituary of Ima Allen Ima Gean Allen, 71, Somerset, KY, passed away on October 30, 2018, and went home to be with her daughter, Teresa Leola. She was born in Harlan, KY, on January 25, 1947, to the late Charles and Leola (Shepherd) Thomas. Ima Gean was a wonderful and devoted mother to her family, with whom she enjoyed spending time.

She loved watching Hallmark movies and enjoyed traveling and shopping. Her memory will be forever cherished by her children, Truman (Gigi) Turner, Marion, Tim (Allison) Turner, Kokomo, Jeff Turner, Somerset, KY, and Kim Clemons, Science Hill, KY; brother, Tim Thomas, Nashville, TN; sisters, Mary Turner, NM, Barbara Horton, Marion, Linda Howard, Frankfort, KY, and Joyce Turner, AL; grandchildren, Alishya, Harold Truman III, Ashley, Andy, Mical, Serina, Jakub, Tim Jr, Ashley, Avery, Maci, Sheena, Brad, Chris, Anthony, and Shannia; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Caylyn, Noah, Callan, Deacon, Madison, Kirstyn, Jazzlyn, Greyson, Jeffrey III, Katelynn, Emilee, Abigail, Maylea, and Zatie; special grandson, Anthony; and special great-granddaughter, Maylea. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Diana Montoya, Leola Clay, and Teresa Thomas; grandson, Jeffrey II; and brother, Wayne Thomas.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Ima Gean’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave. , Marion, IN. Pastor Mick Simpkins will be officiating with burial following at Estates of Serenity.
