Obituary of Willie Freeman Willie W. Freeman, 62, Marion, went to be with the Lord at 12:25 a.m. on Monday, December 24, 2018, at Marion General Hospital. He was born in Tupelo, MS, on December 1, 1956, to Willie and Hallie Freeman. On November 19, 1979, he married his bride, Demetrice McClenton, who survives.

Willie was a veteran of the National Guard and, following his service, worked at Agricor until his retirement. He was a member of Living Water Apostolic Church, and he loved spending time with his family and taking care of his lawn. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Demetrice; daughter, Nicole Freeman, Indianapolis; sisters, Marilyn Smith, Marion, Constance (DP) Davis, Marion, and Eva (Bonifacio) Contreras, Marion; brother, Johnathan (Amy) Freeman, Marion; a host of nieces and nephews; and his dog, Duke.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Dwight Stanley Freeman, and a sister, Ella Mae Smith. The family will have a Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019, at Living Water Apostolic Church, 732 S. Pennsylvania St., Marion, IN. Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave.
