Inge Gerlach Bauman, 71 of Saxonburg passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 at her daughter’s home. Born October 23, 1946 in Kiel, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Anna Gerlach. Inge worked at Weyerhauser in Zelienople and also Natili’s and the Lyndora Hotel as a cook.

She was a member of the General Federation Women’s Club in Saxonburg. Inge enjoyed gardening, needlepoint, crafting, crossword puzzles and reading. Surviving are her loving children, Jennifer Anne (Jamie) Devore of Saxonburg, Amy Suzanne Bauman of Saxonburg, Robert Kenneth (Bobbi Jo) Bauman of Jacksonville, FL, and Christopher Alan (Kristen) Bauman of Saxonburg, 8 grandchildren: Madelyn Genevieve Bauman, Meredith Jane Bauman, Nathan Robert Bauman, Evan Christopher Bauman, Abagail Elise Bauman, Veronica Rose Bauman, Casey Christina (Ryan) Thomas and Hunter Christian (Jewell) Neyman, 2 great grandchildren, Lilly and Jameson and a sister, Gretel Glueck Smith.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Beatrice Genevieve Bauman. There will be no visitation. Services will be private.

Memorial donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
