Irene G. Bretoan, 75, of Central Falls, passed away last Sunday after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Normand R. Breton. Irene was born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late John F. Fanning Sr. and Noella G. (Johnson) Fanning.

Irene was a home maker and lived all her life in the blackstone valley area. She leaves 2 daughters, Kathleen Antaya of Providence and Donna Helwig of Pawtucket, two step-sons, David Breton of Westfield, MA and Larry Breton of North Carolina. She also leaves two brothers, Richarf Fanning of Maine and James Fanning of No.

Providence and a sister Linda Fanning of Pawtucket. and 10 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are ivited to attend visitation, Saturday morning from 9 until 10:30 AM, a Funeral Prayer Service will follow at 10:45 AM and burial will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.
