Irene Rishor, 92, of Butler passed away Monday, January 21, 2019, in Harrisburg, PA. Born December 19, 1926, in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of Holland and Nancy Shaffer, as the youngest of seven children. With her husband, Jack Rishor, she owned and operated the Rishor New Agency in Butler, where she raised two children.

She enjoyed her playing cards with her friends, visiting her family and traveling. She golfed and loved to read. She is survived by her son, Kurt (Elizabeth) Rishor, her daughter, Sharon Helsel (Hil Wessel), her grandchildren, Kinsey (Jim) Helou, Kyle (Brittany) Rishor, Seth Rishor, and Quinn Rishor, and her great-grandchildren, Hadison Helou and Kayden Rishor.

Services will be private with arrangements by Geibel Funeral Home. Internment will be at the Butler County Memorial Park.
