Irene M. Vedron May 7, 1927 – August 31, 2018 Irene M. Vedron, 91, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 at 1:00 am in Aperion Care-Michigan City. Private family services will take place. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements. She was born May 7, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Andrew and Szusana (Buhaj) Lawrence. On April 12, 1947 in Michigan City, IN she married Louis Vedron, Jr. who preceded her on December 30, 2009.

Surviving are two sons, Lawrence Vedron of Citrus Heights, CA and Ryan (Valerie) Vedron of Michigan City, IN; granddaughter, Breanne Vedron of LaGrange Park, IL; and her grandson, Scott Vedron of Michigan City, IN. She was also preceded in death by step-sister, Marlena Vargo; and step-brother, John Nemeth. Irene had worked as a salesperson at J.C. Penny and Carson Pirie Scott.

She was member of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved her grandchildren. Contributions may be made to Michiana Humane Society, 722 Indiana Highway 212, Michigan City, IN 46360.
