Stephen M. Rogers December 30, 1983 – October 26, 2018 Stephen M. Rogers, 34, Trail Creek, Indiana, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at 5:46 pm in his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Rev. Kevin Huber officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am – 11:00 am, Thursday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel. He was born December 30, 1983 in Michigan City, Indiana to Donald and Deborah (Niles) Rogers, Jr. who survive in Trail Creek, IN. Also surviving are two daughters, Genevieve Merrion Rogers and Kathryn Jane Rogers; brother, Jeffrey (Ashley) Rogers of Norman, OK; two nephews, David and Deacon Rogers; grandmother, Adelle Niles of Michigan City, IN; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Elvin Niles and Donald and Stella Rogers, Sr. Stephen was a carpenter with Blue Ribbon Builders, LaPorte, IN. He was a member of the Moose Family Center 980 and enjoyed campfires, golfing, building things and spending time with his family. Stephen loved music and played in the band MODA.
