Ireney Michael Albaneze, age 85, passed on Monday, November 19th, 2018 at his home in Amissville, Virginia. Mr. Albaneze was born in Manhattan, New York on June 28th, 1933, son of the late Nicholas & Maria Albaneze. He was an usher at St Peter’s Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Albaneze is survived by his wife of sixty years, Edna R. Albaneze; five children, Jennifer Walker & her husband, Matt of Brussels, Belgium, Jeanine Mogstad & her husband, Terje of Cumming, GA, Judy Ford & her husband, Brian of Staten Island, NY, Michael Albaneze, COL USA (Ret) & his wife, Mary Beth of Seattle, WA and Matthew Albaneze & his wife, Lynn of Woodbridge, VA; sister, Elizabeth McGuinness of Queens, NY; nine grandchildren, Danny, Nicky, Brian, Paula, Linda, Thomas, Tia, Amy & Justin; two great grandchildren, Troy & Emmy Ruth. The family will receive visitors at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave. , Warrenton, VA from 5 to 8 pm, on Tuesday, November 27th, 2018.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church, 12762 Lee Highway, Washington, VA 22747, at 11 am on Wednesday, November 28th, 2018 followed by interment at St. Peter’s cemetery.
