Jack Lewis, 91, husband of Hazel Stigers Lewis, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019. He was born March 6, 1928 to the late Ryley Jack Lewis and Nora Stewart Lewis in Versailles, KY. Jack attended Journey Church and was a charter member of Woodford Christian Church.

He worked at Savage Lumber Company for twenty-three years until he started building homes under Jack Lewis Homes until his retirement. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Irene Witt, Lexington, Judy (Joe) Clark, Versailles, and Betty Mitchell, Frankfort; his grandchildren, Chris Mitchell, Brian Nesselrode, Lori Clark, Lee Todd Nesselrode, Lisa Ralston, David Clark, and Jeff Mitchell; as well as fifteen great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jimmy Lewis.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill officiated by Rev. Randy Nation. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort.

Casketbearers will be his grandsons Chris Mitchell, Brian Nesselrode, Lee Todd Nesslerode, Jeff Mitchell, David Clark and Billy Clark. Visitation will be 2:00pm-5:00pm on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations can be made to Bluegrass Hospice.
