JACKIE “JACK” LEE WELLS, 70, of Anna passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at his residence. He was born on September 24, 1947 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Richard and Helen (Regula) Wells. On June 26, 1995, Jack married the former Esther Rudd, who survives.

He is survived by one brother, William (Doris) Wells and several nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by one brother and sister in law, Fred (Joyce) Wells. Mr. Wells retired from the United States Postal Service as a US Postal Carrier.

Jack was also a farmer. He was a part of the US Army National Guard and a member of the American Legion Heiland Post 446 in Anna. Jack was a lifelong member of the St. Jacobs Lutheran Church in Anna.

Per Jack’s wishes, his body will be cremated. No services will be held. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney.
