Obituary for Jackson Dean Rowell Jackson Dean Rowell passed away June 25, 2018 at the age of 82 in his residence of Alvarado Meadows. Jackson was born the youngest of six on November 3, 1935 in San Saba County to Clarence and Edith (Woods) Rowell (both deceased). Jack grew up on a farm close to Richland Springs and had a very happy childhood enjoying hunting, fishing, and helping his father on the farm.

As an adult he lived in several retirement and group communities and made friends at each of these places. He was even awarded resident of the month in 2017 for his outgoing nature. Jackson was survived by his son Jack Rowell, his wife Nika and their children, his daughter Vickie Spears, her husband Rick and their children, his brother William Rowell and his wife Roxye, his sister Martha Myers and her husband Johnny, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
