Jacob “Jake” Guy, age 27 of Rush City passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Harris. Jake was born on August 18, 1991 in St. Paul to parents, Jeffrey and Barbara (Zumwalde) Guy. He attended schools in Rush City graduating in 2010.

Jake worked as a mechanic and a truck driver and was considered a “jack of all trades”. He could fix anything mechanical and would do anything for his friends and others. He loved hunting and fishing… Read More » but most of all spending time with his three kids and fiancé Melissa.

Jake is survived by his mother, Barb (fiancé Jon) of Rush City; father, Jeff (girlfriend Vivian) Guy of Garrison; sons, Collin and Carter, daughter, Pehton; fiancé Melissa Fallon of Cambridge; sister, Kayty Guy of Motley; maternal grandparents, Betty (Pete) Fisher of Brook Park and Jim Zumwalde of Longville; paternal grandparents, Jack and Pat Guy of Stacy as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal great grandmother, Katherine Guy; maternal great grandmothers, Vivian Zumwalde and Mary Yunker.
