Jacqueline Jackie Catherine Jones , March 18, 1988 — November 17, 2018

Jacqueline (Jackie) Catherine Jones Jacqueline C. Jones, 30, dearest daughter, passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2018. Jackie was born on March 18, 1988 in Akron, Ohio to Bill and Jeannie Jones. She attended St. Vincent grade school, was a 2006 graduate of St. Vincent – St. Mary High School and received an Associate’s Degree in marketing from Stark State.

Jackie was currently employed at the Clearview Inn and spent many years working at Pub Bricco. Everyone Jackie met was a friend. To her, friendship wasn’t about who had been in her life the longest, it was about loyalty, proving that she was really there for you regardless of how long it had been since you last spoken.

She was admired, liked and loved by everyone who knew her. Jackie was “Gone with the wind fabulous”, had a passion for fashion since she was a little girl and was in the process of pursuing her dreams in make-up artistry. Her favorite memories were spent with family and friends.

She enjoyed spending time at the beach, watching all of the Real Housewives series and cruising the streets of Akron in her white Nissan Altima – although, she was a self-proclaimed terrible driver. Addiction wasn’t a personal choice for Jackie. Addiction is a disease, and all addicts deserve to be treated with respect and compassion.

A person is never a problem. The problem is always the problem. Jackie was preceded in death by grandparents, Gerald and Eleanor Fulkerson, Bill and Doris Jones; and uncle, Terry Koly.

She is survived by mother, Jeannie (David) Jones; and father, Bill (Deanna) Jones; aunts, Ruth Fulkerson, Mary Koly (nee Fulkerson), Carol Jones, Cathy Guthrie; uncles, Donald (Jill) Fulkerson; cousins, Jessica Koly, Kyle, Kelly, Ryan and Kevin Fulkerson, Josh and Jennifer; family friend, Bruce Kluender; her furry friend, Winston who adored her and many, many, many friends. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School Corrigan Fund or St. Vincent – St. Mary High School tuition assistance.
