Jacqueline “Jackie”‘s Obituary Jackie Straub, Jackie Age 78 of Eden Prairie joined beloved husband and best friend Wally in the arms of our Lord on February 5, 2019. Also preceded in death by her parents, Valborg and Harold Strand. Survived by her children, Michael (Lindsey) Straub, Cindy (Jim) Hitchcock, Wayne (Joy) Straub; grandchildren, Madelyn and Cole Straub, Jenny and Matt Hitchcock, Katherine and Nicole Straub; three great-grandchildren, Warren, Serena and Raven; brothers, John (Eleanor) Strand, David (Kathryn) Strand, Richard Strand, Bruce Strand, Douglas (Nancy) Strand; sister, Valerie (Philip) Strand Patterson; many nieces, nephews and their children.

Jackie grew up on a farm in rural Minnesota and graduated from New London High School. She was a dedicated 35 year employee with USPS. Jackie was a very kind and gentle soul; with a loving and generous heart, she loved her family and was always giving to others.

Funeral Service 11:00 am Saturday, Feb 9 at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 Country Road 6 in Plymouth. Gathering of family and friends 5-7 pm Friday at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N. (at Vicksburg Lane) and also 1 hour prior to service at church.

Interment Eden Prairie Cemetery.
