Obituary for Doris Virginia Schaefer (Smith) Print Age 94, of Savage,went to meet her Lord on January 31, 2019. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Alvin Lamont Crawford and George Tinus Schaefer; daughter, Virginia Ryan; brother, John Smith. She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Mark) Jenkins and Jane (Chuck) McCall; step-children, George (Nina) Schaefer, Douglas (Peggy) Schaefer and Sharon (Frank) Webb; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces , nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be Saturday February 9th 3:30 PM at Mt. Olivet Church, 5025 Knox Ave, Minneapolis. Visitation 1 hour prior to service.
Interment in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Jane McCall with proceeds going towards funding clean a water well in a third world country in memory of Doris. www.
