Keokee, Virginia Jacqueline Sue Palmer of the Rawhide community, went to be with the Lord on Friday (March 8, 2019) after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on March 13, 1940 in Roswell, NM. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Velma and Kerney Rucker, she was loved by all,and will be missed by all who knew her.

She has left behind her husband Robert B. (Bob) Palmer Jr. of the home, ( they were married 59 years) one son; Robert (Bruce) Palmer III and wife Donna Palmer of Gate City VA, one daughter; Elizabeth Ann (Liz) Palmer of Gray TN, one granddaughter, Veronica Carroll of Gray, TN three grandsons: Saumuel Palmer of Gate City, VA Aaron Carroll of Gray TN, Dr. Eric Carroll and wife Dr. Sheloh Carroll of Nashville TN, one sister and brother in law Anna Lee Padula husband Richard of Mt. Shasta CA, two special cousins Patty Kenney and Cheryl Kenney of Artesa NM, many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. John Scott Litton, the staff of Norton Community Hospital, Ballad Health and Hospice; and all the staff of Advance Health Care ,for all their care and attention.
