Jaime’s Obituary Jaime P. Benevides, age 76, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Somerset Ridge Center with his loving family by his side. Jaime was born in Sao Miguel Azores, he was the son of the late, Joseph and Sylvania (Carreiro) Benevides. He worked at Lightolier before retiring.

He was a shareholder and member for the Academica Club for 45 years, soccer was his passion, he also loved to play the trumpet in the marching band. Jaime is survived by a daughter, Lisa Atkinson and her husband George of Fall River, a step-daughter, Lori Almeda of Fall River, a step-son, Scott Gagne of Peabody, MA a brother, Edgerdo Benevides of California, two grandchildren, Jeremy Atkinson and Marissa Atkinson and many step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He also was the brother to the late Feleciana P. Benevides and Conceicho P. Benevides.

Jaime’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 9:00AM from the BOULE FUNERAL HOME, 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. Mary’s Cathedral Spring St. Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jaime name to Dementia Society of America P.O. Box 600 Doylestown, PA 18901.
