Obituary for Jalynn Marie Garey Jalynn Marie Garey, 23 of Zanesville, died, Friday, December 14, 2018. She was born Sunday, June 18, 1995, in Zanesville, the daughter of Molly (Garey) Brandfass and the late Chad Garey. She was a graduate of West Muskingum High School and Mid-East Career and Technology Center and attended Zane State College.

Jalynn was outgoing and loved being with her friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her boyfriend: Marcus Goins, and her pet companion: Bella. She also enjoyed shopping and watching TV with her sister, especially Law & Order SVU.

Jalynn is survived by her mother: Molly Brandfass; her maternal grandmother: Beckie Foster of Zanesville; paternal grandparents: Harold & Betty Garey of Frazeysburg; one sister: Jacqueline Massey of Zanesville; three nieces: Jade, Delilah, and Mariah Boyer; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her father: Chad Garey, Jalynn was preceded in death by her step-father: Moby Brandfass; and her maternal grandfather: Mike Foster Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, December 21, 2018, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville.
