Holley, 87, of Lufkin will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Kent Henson and Joe Martin officiating. Graveside services with military honors will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mr. Holley was born January 28, 1931 in Commerce, Texas to the late Mary Elizabeth (McAlister) and Herman White Holley, and died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in a local hospital.

Mr. Holley had resided in Lufkin for 48 years. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1971, and served as Angelina County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace for 12 years. He also owned Holley’s Wonderland, Holley’s Café and Holley’s Sales.

In his spare time, Mr. Holley loved to travel. He was a member of Central Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Stella (Craig) Holley of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Beverly Holley of Jasper, Patrick and Donna Holley, David and Connie Holley, Bryan and Tammy Holley, all of Lufkin; grandchildren, Vanessa Moulder, Kristie Robbins, Ian Latimer, Tanya Head, April Anthony, Amanda Holley, Adam Holley, Cytera Fritz, Keslie Reece, Bryson Holley, and Kenzy Holley; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Norman Holley of Mesquite, Billy and Elaine Holley of Midlothian, Gerald and Dottie Holley of Greenville; sisters and brother-in-law, Wanda Bates of Greenville, Rita and Gary Wineger of Texarkana; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be Adam Holley, Christian Holley, Woody Luce, Bryson Holley, Brett Holley, and Jeff Robbins. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Netherton and Tim Evans.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Memories and condolences may be added at www. carrowayfuneralhome.com.
