Obituary for James Arthur Ash James Arthur Ash, 48, of Anderson, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 19, 2018 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born on August 12, 1970 in Anderson, where he resided most of his life. Jamie graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1988, and obtained a diploma from Ohio Auto Diesel Technical College in 1990.

He worked as a Class A Journeyman Mechanic for the entirety of his career, and he was ASE Master Certified. Jamie’s past employers included Prairie Farms, Dossett’s Garage, and Muncie Indiana Transit Systems. He was a passionate Indianapolis Colts fan, and he never missed a Sunday game.

Jamie enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Jamie is survived by his loving wife, Maryline Ash; daughter, Taryn (Reis Stroup) Ash; mother, Lynda Ash; brothers Mark Ash, Sr., Andrew Ash; several nieces and nephews; best friends, Tony Cantrell, and Jeff Saylor. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Ash; sister-in-law, Toya Ash; grandfather, Glenn Ash; grandmother, Ruth V. Ash; grandfather, Andrew Tkach; grandmother, Ruth E. Ash; grandfather, Arthur O. Steves.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson. Services will be Saturday, September 22, 2018, 1:00 pm at the funeral home, with Pastor Mark Freeman officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
