Obituary for James Barber Private services were held for James C. Barber, 67, of Chardon. Mr. Barber passed away Oct. 4, 2018, at Maltz Hospice House of Montefiore in Beachwood.

He was born May 28, 1951, in Cleveland. James was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was the beloved husband of Roseann D. (nee Pannetti) Barber; loving father of James C. Barber Jr., Brian J. (Molly) Barber, Michael W. Barber, Paulette (Jim) Cosentino and Patti (John) Parr; cherished grandfather of Kayla, Jessica, Gavin, Aiden, Ian and Addison; brother of Danny (Susie) Barber and Amy (Wayne) Glinski; and uncle of nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Marion (nee Haggerty) Barber; and brothers, Tommy and David Barber. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to Maltz Hospice House of Montefiore, 1 David N. Myers Parkway, Beachwood, OH 44122. Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
