James C. “Jimbo” Carr passed away October 20, 2018 at the age of 67. He was born June 19, 1951 to the late Myrtle B. Goodman. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Harvey L. Goodman and brother, Roger L. Goodman.

He is survived by his son, Rodney (Susanna) Carr; daughter, Kimberly C. Smith; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby Carr; sister, Diane Hill and numerous nieces and nephews. Committal services will be Friday, October 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo with Rev. Lloyd Stockman officiating and honors presented by the United States Marine Corps.

All vehicles must be lined up at the cemetery in the designated procession lane by 1:50 p.m. to attend the service. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.
