James Corey Rogers, 39, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away in Beaver Dam. He was born December 19, 1979 in Owensboro to James Darryl Rogers and the late Katherine Butler Rogers. He enjoyed fishing and camping and considered himself a grill master.

Corey was preceded in death by one daughter, Courtney Breann Rogers; his mother, Katherine Butler Rogers; maternal grandparents, Aaron Wade and Lucy Butler; paternal grandparents, James E. and Claudie Rogers; one uncle, Gerald Rogers; one great nephew, Tommy Fields, and family friend, Jerry Phelps. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, a daughter of Beaver Dam, his father, James Darryl Rogers of Beaver Dam; one sister, Sarah Rogers (David Deweese) of Cromwell; nieces and nephews, Jacob (Megan) Puckett, Kelsey Puckett, Emily Coons, and Adelynn Coons; one great nephew, Ezra Fields; one aunt, Lynn (Bill) Burgess; two uncles, Ronnie (Teresa) Butler and Ricky (Lisa) Butler; friend for life, Bo Daugherty and several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro.

Dennis Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Green River Cemetery in Cromwell. Friends may visit with Corey’s family from 10:00 AM until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
