Obituary for James E. Brown James E. Brown, 67, of Harrisburg, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019, in the UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of Mattie Brown of Harrisburg, and the late Lloyd Thomas Brown. Jim was a self-employed electrician.

He was a 1969 graduate of the former John Harris High School. Jim was a dedicated member of Living Water Community Church, Harrisburg. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, he also loved his motorcycle and gardening.

Jim is survived by his wife and best friend, Debra K. Brown; three daughters, Jaime N. Paige wife of Torran O., and Carrie M. Noon wife of Richard A. both of Harrisburg, and Vickie Pugh of Middletown; one brother, Hersey T. Brown of Harrisburg; nine grandchildren; and lots of family and friends who also loved him. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at 12:00 noon in Living Water Community Church, 206 Oakleigh Avenue, Harrisburg, with The Rev. Michael S. Leonzo, officiating.

Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. Viewing will be held in the church on Thursday from 11 AM until time of the service. Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements.
