James E. Galligan Jr. March 12, 1949 – December 23, 2018 James E. Galligan Jr., 69, of New Haven, died Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born in New Haven, March 12, 1949, a son of the late Jame E. Galligan Sr. and Anna (Kennedy) Galligan. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and a graduate of West Haven High School and later attended Southern Connecticut University.

He is a former resident of Wallingford where he spent most of his career working at First Connecticut Credit Union as President/CEO. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Sherri Galligan and his grandchildren Brady and Lainey. He is predeceased by his son, Michael Galligan and his sister, Dona Galligan Patrigani.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 2, from 5-7 pm In the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext. Interment will be private. www.
