Sauls, 97 of Jonesboro died Saturday January 12, 2019 at Flo & Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born July 13, 1921 in Frenchman’s Bayou, Arkansas to Ed Sauls & Olive Brightwell Sauls. He was a carpenter and a farmer by trade.

He was a WWII veteran, a loving husband, father, and friend who loved the Lord. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Annabelle Sauls; grandson, Patrick Dean; brothers, Denver, A.D., & John C. Sauls; and sisters, Carmel Foster, Edna Bookout, & Freda Lewallen.

He is survived by daughters, Leanne Petersen of Jonesboro, AR, & Sheila (Owen) Dean of Woodland Park, CO; sister-in-law, Avis Holloway of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Michael Dean, Mindi Dean, Angela Davis, David Dean, Eric Marcrum, & Stephen Petersen; 10 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday January 17, 2019 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Friday January 18, 2019 at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with Don House, Lloyd Clark, and Kenneth Gossett officiating.

Interment will be in Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge & Lynn, AR.
