James’ Obituary James Franklin Melton, Jr. 67, of Ellerbe, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at his home. Mr. Melton was born August 17, 1951 in Richmond County, a son of the late James Franklin and Ruby Carlisle Melton. He was a member of the Ellerbe Lions Club and for over 50 years he worked in marine upholstery.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Gayle and Ginger Melton. Surviving are his wife, Kristy Lee; children, James F. Melton, III (Rebekah) of Ruskin, Fl and Shannon Melton of Tampa, Fl; grandchildren, Maria Melton of Ocala, Fl, Crystal Lee of Orlando, Fl and brothers, Chuck Melton (Cendy) of Wesley Chapel, Fl and Wayne Melton (Jackie) of Zephyrhills, Fl. There will be a gathering of friends with a potluck dinner at the home on Sunday, February 3, 2019 beginning at 1pm.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
