OBITUARY James “Jimmy” Lee December 6, 1946 – November 18, 2018 James “Jimmy” G. Lee, of Warrior, Al passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the age of 71. Jimmy was a wonderful and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. He always put the needs of his family and friends before his own and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Jimmy grew up in Gardendale, AL and was a longtime resident of the Smokerise community. He owned and operated Lee’s Grocery and Smokerise Steakhouse for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius G. and Minnie Lee.

He loved his family dearly and is survived by his wife of 37 years, Belinda Lee; a son, Jamie Lee; his daughter, Christine Autrey and her husband Colvin; sister, Linda Lee Collier; mother-in-law, Chrystal Key; two grandchildren, Christopher Lowery and his wife Felisha, and Nicole Lowery; his great grandchildren, Alyssa Stevens, Landon Lithgow, and Kaylee Adcock; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him dearly. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 21st at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
