OBITUARY Ken Bernard Lawley December 24, 1962 – November 13, 2018 Ken Bernard Lawley of Mt. Olive, AL was born in Birmingham, Alabama on December 24, 1962 and he passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the age of 55. He retired from Hayes Aircraft (PEMCO) after many years of service.

He was member of Beechwood Baptist Church where he enjoyed teaching Sunday school for many years. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle who will be greatly missed. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Payton B. Lawley and a nephew, James Lawley.

Ken is survived by his loving family, his mother, Mary Kate Lawley; a sister, Jan L. Lenz (Charlie); two brothers, Pat Lawley (Jeanie) and Joe Lawley (Carol); nieces and nephews, Jennifer Johnson (Bruce), Jason Perkins (Beverly), Daniel Lawley, Tammy Lawley, and Jacob Lawley; great nieces and nephews, Cristofer Johnson, Dominic Johnson, Meagan Johnson, and Austin Perkins. Celebration of Life services will held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 with a time of visitation at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel in the Compass Room from 10:00am until 11:00am. Graveside service will be in Mt.

Olive Cemetery at 11:15am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the University of Alabama Transplant Department at www. uab.
