James (Jimmy) Monroe Fleming, Jr., 51, of Malvern Dr., SW, Concord, NC, passed away Monday, December 10, at his residence. He was born September 6, 1967 in Cabarrus County to James M. Fleming, Sr. and the late Peggy Ann Freeman Fleming. Jimmy was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

He was formerly employed at Kids Behavioral Health Services and attended Grace Lutheran Church. Services will be held Monday, December 17, at Kittie N. Sanson Chapel, Barber Scotia College, 145 Cabarrus Ave. W, Concord, NC.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM with funeral services at 1:00 PM. Those left to cherish fond memories include one daughter, Lee Ann Ashley Fleming of Concord; one son, James M. Fleming, III of Concord; two grandchildren, Harper P. Rose Fleming of Concord, Kharmin Crowder of Concord; his father, James M. Fleming, Sr. of Concord; one sister, Ann Freeman Fleming of Concord; his fiancé, Shenita Bost of Concord; two aunts, Lurlene Walker (Anthony) of Concord, Erma McGimpsey of Morganton, NC; one uncle, Robert Freeman (Emily) of Concord; one nephew, David T. Russell, III of Concord, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
