James’ Obituary James Kevin Luker, 63, of Conway, departed this life January 20, 2019. He was born September 27, 1955 in Little Rock to Jack and Lena Mae (Pearle) Luker. Jim served in the United States Army for four years during the Vietnam War.

He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in History and Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Social Sciences from Arkansas Tech. Jim was a nationally rated fencer and a black belt in aikido. He was known for his vibrant smile that would brighten anyone’s day.

He is survived by two daughters, Simone Rachael Merced of Ward and Sarah Ruth Blood (Greg) of Beebe; five grandchildren, Noah and Jace Merced, Dakota, Layton and Teagan Blood and a host of extended family. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cabot. Arrangements by Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
