Obituary for James Cameron James “Larry” Cameron, 73, of Hattiesburg, passed away on September 2, 2018, at Bedford Care. He was born on January 11, 1945, to Harry and Bertha Cameron in Pascagoula, MS. Larry enlisted briefly with the U.S. Air Force and retired from Shelby County Sheriff’s Department in Memphis, TN, after 25 years.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Emmett Cameron, Harry Lee Cameron, Rod Cameron and Don Cameron. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Cameron; three sons, John Cameron, James Cameron and David Cameron; three grand children: Christian Cameron, Zacharias Cameron and Isabella Cameron; two step children, Robert Allen (Kate) and Kimberly Allen; two step grandchildren, Abel Allen and Jude Allen. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital in honor of Larry (giftfunds.

stjude.org/LarryCameron). Signing the registry will be Wednesday, September 5, 2018, 1:30pm at Forrest Funeral Home with the memorial service to follow at 2:00pm.
