Obituary for Mr. James Lee Dietz Mr. James Lee Dietz, age 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, November 11, 2018. He was born on April 27, 1928 to Neal and Nina (Feasel) Dietz in Muskegon. Jim served his country during the Korean Conflict while in the United States Army.

On May 28, 1955, he married the former Lillian King in Muskegon. Jim worked as a machinist for Muskegon Piston Ring for 39 years and volunteered at Orchard View Early Childhood Center for the past 19 years. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and playing baseball and softball, and also was an assistant coach for his kids while they were growing up.

Jim will be deeply missed by his wife of 63 years, Lillian; children, David Dietz, Michael Dietz, Susan (Marcus) Link, Patrick Dietz and Karen (Jay) Slicker; grandchildren, Tracy (Michael) Dodson, Robert (Samantha) Crosby, Anthony Link, Brandon Link, Samantha Slicker, Brittiny Slicker and Kaitlin Slicker; three great-grandchildren, Zaina, Raimi and Alda Crosby; and sister, Nancy Krueger. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald and Gerald Dietz; and daughter-in-law, Diana Dietz. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 3PM at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 E. Apple Ave.

, 231-726-5210. Visitation with the family will be Friday, November 16 from 6-8PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Orchard View Memorial Fund in Jim’s name.
