James’ Obituary James “Jim” Lloyd Richeson passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019. Jim was born December 17, 1931 in Ryan, Oklahoma. He was raised on his family’s farm and attended school in a one room school house in Sugden, Oklahoma.

The graduating class of 1950 was a class of 4, 3 girls and Jim. Upon graduation, Jim enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was assigned to Sealand Air Force base, in Wales, UK. One weekend Jim took leave to visit Liverpool, England where he met the love of his life, Margaret “Rita” White, and they were married on August 7, 1954.

Jim and Rita returned to the United States in 1955. In 1962 Jim and Rita opened their Garland Camera and Repair in Ridgewood Shopping Center. They relocated the store to Saturn and NW Highway and sold the business in 2016.

Jim was an avid golfer and a member of Eastern Hills Country Club for 60 years. On May 28, 2004 Jim had his first Hole-in-one on #17 at the age of 73. Jim was a good soul that spoke no evil, saw no evil, and heard no evil.

He will be missed by all. Jim is survived by his wife of 64 years Margaret “Rita” Richeson, son Kent Richeson, daughter Michelle Shipp Richeson, brother Jesse Lavorn Richeson, sister Ima Avanell Daley-Olson and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Richeson and his mother Pearl Murry Richeson. Memorial service will be 1:00pm Friday, March 22, 2019 at Williams Memorial Chapel.
