James Lynwood ‘Jimmy’ Sisson, 83, of Christiansburg, passed away at CNRVMC on March 26, 2019, after a long illness. Jimmy was born on November 8, 1935 to the late Lynn and Emma Sisson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Sisson.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Mary T. Sisson; daughters, Barbara Chandler (Ray), Alecia Smith (Jeff); grandchildren, Joseph and Philip Chandler, James B. Smith (Becky), Dr. Laura Smith; great-granddaughter, Rena Chandler; a special niece, Teresa Smith; and cousin, Scott Sisson. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019, from noon to 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Service, with Memorial Service to follow in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to White Memorial United Church.
