Katie Rogers Jordan, 91, of Christiansburg passed away March 13, 2019. She loved her church family at Belmont Christian Church. Katie enjoyed bird watching, reading, and was an excellent seamstress.

She loved her family most of all and enjoyed all their get togethers. Katie was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Jordan; brother, Robert Rogers; sister, Dorothy Rogers; parents, George and Myrtle Rogers; and her beloved dog, Bart. She is survived by her sons, Scott Jordan and Robert H. Myers (Rosanna); daughters, Patricia McCall (Carlos Altizer) and Doris Waddell (James); grandchildren, Jacob McCall, Caroline Winters, McDowell Myers and Livingston Myers; 4 Great Grandchildren; niece, Sandra Conrad (Joe); nephew, Steve Rogers (Ann).

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Thomas Mogan and staff, and Kindred Home Health Care. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 17 from noon to 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2.
