Connie ‘Aunt Coco’ Johnson Worth of Christiansburg unexpectedly joined her husband of 35 years, Barry Worth, in Heaven on March 12, 2019. Connie was born on October 7, 1956 to the late Madeline and Aaron Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Michael Johnson and niece, Georgia Collins.

Connie retired on Friday, March 8, 2019 from Moog, Inc. after 42 years with dreams of spending more time with the light of her life, her grandson Hunter, to spend time in her beautiful new home, to craft, and to travel the world (and of course to not wake up every morning at 4am). Connie was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church and for many years taught Sunday School to children who loved her kind, warm spirit. Connie loved spending time with her family, most notably her daughter, Kristin, and friend and sister, Glenda.

Connie will be missed by her Church family and many friends from her career at Moog. Most of all, Aunt Coco loved to laugh and lived a life where others wanted to come to know our Lord. Lovingly remembered and left to mourn her passing are her daughter and son-in-law, Kristin and Roger Stump of Christiansburg; grandson, Hunter Stump; sisters, Sue (Darrell) Rowland, Glenda (Raymond) Thornton, and Deborah Johnson; brother, Tim (Wanda) Johnson; sister-in-law Sue Graham; brother-in-law Jeff Worth and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who adored her.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Mike Vest officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
