JAMES MELVIN FOSHEE, age 90 of Clanton, passed away on April 28, 2018 in Alabaster, AL. He was born in Chilton County on May 13, 1927; the son of the late William A. Foshee and the late Martha Elizabeth Sims Foshee. He was a former millwright.

He is survived by: Daughter, Diane Storey of Alabaster; Daughter, Sharon (Larry) Currie of Forest, MS; Daughter, Linda (Charles) Niven of Starkville, MS; Daughter, Bobbie (Ray) Connell of Brent; Son, Earl Tyus of Centreville; 12 Grandchildren; 26 Great Grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by: Wife, Mary Ester Foshee; Wife, Pauline Ruth Cain Foshee; Parents, Will and Martha Foshee; and 11 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 30, 2017 at 2:00pm from Glad Tidings Church of God with Rev.

Mike Chandler officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
