JIMMY ALLEN “BO” SIMMONS, JR. , age 38 of Calera, passed away suddenly on April 20, 2018 in Calera. He was born in Alabaster, AL on September 5, 1979; the son of Jimmy Allen Simmons, Sr. and Patricia Neaves Poole.

He was a carpenter working in residential construction. He is survived by: Son, Christopher Norris (Eryn) Simmons of Jemison; Daughter, Kylie Brooke Simmons of Alabaster; Daughter, Kelsie Mae Simmons of Alabaster; Son, Blayden Allen Simmons of Alabaster; Grandchildren, Madyson Kyoko Grace Simmons and Chloey Carolyne Cole Simmons both of Jemison; Mother, Patricia Neaves (Brian) Poole of Calera; Father, Jimmy Allen Simmons, Sr. of Verbena; Sister, Misty Dawn (Kevin Daniel) Martinez of Sumter, SC; Brother, Danny Wayen (Laura Peters) Neaves of Jemison; Grandparents, James Lee Neaves and Loretta Gambrell Neaves of Jemison; the Mother of his children, Brooke Simmons; and Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 6-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 11:00am from the Lighthouse Church in Thorsby, AL with Rev.

Travis Bussey officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton, AL.
