Obituary for James O. Kindred James Oliver Kindred, 90, of Wills Point, Texas went home to his Heavenly reward on July 22, 2018. He was born on August 30, 1927 to John Kindred and Rosie Ann McDaniel Kindred in Bismarck, Ark. Family and friends were around James, singing and praying, as he was gathered into the arms of God.

James was met in Heaven by those who preceded him in death: his wife, Lavern Kindred, his mother, Rosie Kindred and his two sisters: Lucille Herrin and Mildred Lester. James is survived by his three daughters: Pat Williams of Wills Point, Tx; Debbie Graves and husband, Terry, of Terrell; Lisa Pressley and husband, Skeeter, of Mansfield, Tx; seven grandchildren: Karah Weaver, Dawn Reck, Regina Nipp, Greg Williams, Shelby Pratt, Kayla Pratt and Carly Pressley; ten great grandchildren: Ellen Nipp, Austin Weaver, JD Nipp III, Lane Nipp, Alexa Weaver, Abigail Weaver, Sadie Nipp, Ava Reck, Junior Reck, and JT Reck; sister, Zelma Knighten; special friends: Hollis Stewart and late wife, Jean, Robert Stewart and Barbara Moore as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends. Funeral service will be at 11:00am, Thursday, July 26, 2018 at First Assembly of God, 555 Tawakoni Drive, Wills Point, TX, 75169 with interment to follow at Locust Grove Cemetery in Wills Point.

The family will receive friends 5pm to 7pm, Wednesday, July 25, at Max Slayton Funerals and Cremations.
