James R. Johnson, 84, of Woodstock, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at his home in Woodstock. He was born April 10, 1934 in Woodstock to Roland E. and Helen E. (Pearson) Johnson. He married Judith M. McKee in Woodstock.

Judith passed away on April 12, 2018 in Woodstock. James was a lifelong resident of Woodstock. He had worked for the Michigan Wisconsin Pipeline company until his retirement.

In his younger days, he enjoyed traveling. Later in life, he just enjoyed being in Woodstock. He is survived by his daughter, Babzett (Randy) Sherfield; son, Lance (Debbie) Johnson; grandson, Matthew Sorensen; and great grandchildren, Brayden and Brooklyn Sorensen.

He was preceded in death be his parents; his wife, Judith M. Johnson; a son, Eric Johnson; and two brothers, William and Jack Johnson. A private interment service will be held for James and Judith in the Greenwood Cemetery in Woodstock.
