James Morgan, age 45, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 28, 2019. Born in Burke County on July 29, 1973 to the late Donald Ray Morgan and Linda Lowery Buchanan and husband Dennis. He was a hard worker, who enjoyed working on cars, and had a passion for gardening and landscaping.

He also loved to go fishing. James was a caring and giving person, who will be missed dearly by his mother and family. Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Linda Lowery Buchanan and husband Dennis of Old Fort; one sister, Melissa Morgan and husband Ronnie of Marion; one nephew and a niece; and his girlfriend.

Tammy Vess. A visitation will be held Monday, February 4, 2019 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Living Water Tabernacle in Old Fort, NC. The funeral service will follow the visitation at the church a 5:00 p.m. with Rev Keith Jamison officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family at PO Box 247, Marion NC 28752.
