In the evening of Tuesday, March 19, 2019, Wilma Finley McKinney, age 74, of Marion, North Carolina passed away at her residence with her family by her side. Born on May 29, 1944 in McDowell County, Wilma was the daughter of the late Garland and Pauline Finley. Wilma was a member of Redeemed Free Will Baptist Church.

She enjoyed being outdoors, especially gardening. Wilma was known for always helping others and never met a stranger. Her family was her life and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of fifty-six years, Ralph J. McKinney; one daughter, Patricia McFalls (Eddie); one grandson, Patrick McFalls; three great-grandchildren, Dominick Peters, Conner and Emma McFalls and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will take place on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Beam Funeral Service with Reverend Jerry McClain officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will take place following the service at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.
