Nora Bea Harris Dillingham , April 16, 1935 — March 26, 2019

Nora Bea Harris Dillingham, age 83, of Marion, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Mountain Ridge Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on April 16, 1935 to the late George and Bonnie Hudgins Harris. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Dillingham and one son, Steve Dillingham.

Bea was a member of Faith Baptist Church, but more recently attended Grace Baptist Church. She was formally employed at Belk and Moore’s Department Stores here in Marion. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, reading and volunteering with the elderly.

Left to cherish her memory are one daughter-in-law, Francine Dillingham; one sister, Zelda Childers; four grandchildren, Jason Dillingham, Christy Waldroup (Travis), Michael Johnson (Donna) and Samantha Tiffany Kellogg (Brandon). Also surviving Bea are three great-grandchildren, Greylan Kellogg, Willow Johnson and Caitlyn Waldroup and numerous nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Bea’s life will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at Grace Community Church with Reverend Keith Jamison officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the church.
