Mr. James Reggie Bunn, 61, of Hartsville, passed away Wednesday evening, April 25th, 2018, at his home under the care of hospice. The family will hold a memorial service to celebrate his life at a later date. Mr. Bunn was born in Ruston, Louisiana, a son of Patricia Taylor Bunn and the late James Walter Bunn.

He was a man who will be remembered as a great dad who frequented the library due to his love of reading books. Another of his favorite hobbies was working in his yards and basket making. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Winey Bunn of the home; sons: Taylor Bunn of Hartsville, Alex Bunn and wife, Liz of Frederick, Maryland, Kenneth Bunn and wife, Ashley of Germantown, Maryland; one grandchild, Robert Bunn of Frederick, Maryland; his mother of West Monroe, Louisiana; and one sister, Micky Bunn-Smith also of West Monroe, Louisiana.

Reggie was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Kenneth Bunn. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Darlington County Library System at 204 North Main Street, Darlington, South Carolina 29532. Norton Funeral Home of Hartsville is honored to be serving the Bunn family.
